🏡I’m excited to share some news—After spending the last 10+ years in Self Storage and managing my own rental properties, I’ve taken the leap further into the world of real estate!

I work on the Property Management side of investing and we have plenty of rentals we manage in the Section 8 area (over 250+ doors in Greater Houston), I'm happy to answer any questions you direct message me for some an insight! 

We may not respond until Monday morning for a broken blind, but for HVAC during extreme temperatures, plumbing leaks and other emergencies we will and I don't understand why any owner would not want to, just out of self interest.

But, most  municipalities will settle these for 5-10% from someone who comes in and fixes the underlying issue.Some research and leg work may lead to this being a non issue (insurance company pays the claim/contractor) or maybe not…but worth putting some work into it.

Additionally, failing to close a loan over a fiscal year is a huge red flag and usually leads to termination.I want to dive headfirst into RE investing to gain that experience I mentioned above.

We're looking at buying an STR to self-manage but with rates and prices where they are, the cash flow projections are dismal.

One thing that wasn't mentioned is that the road leading to many of the homes often floods making a good portion of the rental homes inaccessible during storms & also resulting in early evacuation due to storm threats. 

The financial solution can be self management or a full time manager.
