Although in the next few years I'll be starting a family and will want a single family home, if I put in the work of finding off market / on market multifamily deal the medium term rents could be insane. 

I am hopeful I could under bid and get it at a good deal.I would like to put an offer in, but I don't have enough cash to pay the full amount at auction.

But now I think I'm ready to take that next step and put things into action.

This maybe a silly question but I feel you got to put yourself out there and not be afraid to ask questions and admit your limitations.

Put more money down to get cash flow. 

You just have to remember to put the battery changes on your annual maintenance schedule.

I’ve also been saving up a large portion of my checks to go towards a future down payment for hopefully a multi-family property to start my house hacking journey.Just wanted to put myself out there but if there was anything you would tell a future real investor what would it be and I’d appreciate any advice given, Thanks. 

Yes, I am putting it under contract site unseen but not to worry, I will get there before the options period expires.
