Hello All,So the idea is to try to get approved and go FHA into a multi unit prop, My husband and I are planning to board my brothers sail boat and head down the east coast for a few months after that.

.$2,500 is certainly affordable as far a house goes, just needs some sweat equity vs taxing those who have used credit responsibly.And you know they are more likely to lose the home to foreclosure with the lower credit rating and be right back in the same boat--no house renters.I think they need better paying jobs, much much better paying jobs, and to learn to live within their means.Just my 2 cents.

@Matt 'Roar' Gardner is very knowledgable in the market and can probably help you out if needed.St Petersburg seems to draw a younger customer/crowd, but would be a similar price point to Destin.Sarasota/ Bradenton/ Long Boat Key is another solid option.  

@Chris SeveneyI misread the article - Does not look like anything done here was done out of intent.Washington is a tough state to do business in and I know others who got a cease and desist because of a technicalityI should not have put him in same boat as my reference
