If there is enough demand and the quality is sufficient, some enterprising souls will figure out how to make it work (they already have to transport and store cranes and other large construction equipment).Will be interesting to see what the next 10 or 20 years have in store.

Hello My name is Jorge Lopez,currently reside in Wellington,Florida.I'm trying to learn about Real State Investments.I have a degree in electrical engineer,daily job as clinical engineer(fixing medical equipments).Dont have my own property yet.Came from Cuba 7 years ago(proud to be american citizen now)so I will try to do my best writing in English properly !!

If it is a business that includes land/buildings as part of it (restaurant, factory, etc) then in a sale he can break out the real estate portion and exchange that for other investment real estate while paying tax on the allocation to Furnishings fixtures, equipment, and good will.All investment real estate is like kind to each other so a vacation rental is fine as well. 

I do make commercial lines of credit secured against equipment and vehicles quite regularly but we like to see them paid to zero and rest for a few days at least once per year.  

Acquiring a property with inherited tenants is a risk few new owner investors are equipped to handle.
