Many of us have bought expensive libraries ( $1,000 +) from TV personalities during three day courses, and realize much of it was free on BP and is missing important parts.

The building was wired for both phone (DSL) and cable for TV and internet.And what you get, are students who prefer not to live with roommates and are willing to pay a little extra for their own space.

They are not allowed to poke holes in the walls to hide their TV wires, and you aren't going to do it.

However, you can rely on the information you get from a credit report that shows someone who gets into difficult financial problems, who chooses to continue to watch their cable TV beyond the point where they can pay for it, or charges on their credit cards knowing they can't pay the bill. 

Last time I was over to fix a ceiling fan I think they were up to a TV, couch, living room chair, a couple night stands, an armoire, and a couple chairs and a folding table in the dining area after eight months. 

Then, the tenants call up the cable company or ATT for TV and/or internet.  

The final kicker was, as they were leaving, the original guy mentioned that he really liked the fireplace mantel because his 70 inch TV would fit up there very nicely....no shower, no central air but a big screen TV.I thought I had discouraged them enough when I told them that each would have to pay the screening fee to check credit/criminal history but I'll be darned if they didn't call back four days later saying they had the applications (I had to provide them several) all filled out.

Sure, there is Joe and Jane X living over their limits switching phones every six months and buying the largest TV they can get their hands on while living on Section 8 assistance, but there are other cases.
