Also, it would be a lot harder to cash flow if you are paying interest to 2 difference sources.While technically that is true, in Canada you are not permitted to borrow any portion of the downpayment, when financing conventionally, and the result would be the lender's withdrawal.All, or part, of the downpayment may be gifted to you (the giver will likely be asked to sign an attestation that the amount is a gift).
