@Pearce G.You can take it as a distribution, pay tax if not a Roth, and own it personally and then manage it, vacation in it, etc, You may also ask for a prohibited Transaction Exemption (PTE) and buy it from Your Ira.

I'm also getting the sense that most real estate investors think putting money into an 401k, IRA, or Roth IRA is a loser's game – and I can definitely see the logic behind that argument as well.
