Wouldn't think a good paying tenant should have no problem coming up with half the rent for a deposit?

I reached out to Donovan at DTB last week and he responded within a half hour to setup a meeting and answer a few questions of mine. 

I looked at an office building a year and a half ago that was listed by a "resimercial" agent. 

This will be a case of give them an inch take you 30 miles. 

But really doesnt need much for us to rent it out (we plan on 1800/mo)We are under contract at 154000 with them paying their half of closing.

It was an interesting property as it’s a 2 bed, 1 bath half-duplex (one side of the duplex).

Kitchen -- No explanation required Full bath to become master on-suite Half bath to be converted to full bath. 

And I have most of the texts to back all of this up as that was our main method of communication besides phone.Aside from all the unprofessionalism, bad business practices, verbal abuse, and wanting half the profits for 100% of my work and efforts(!?!?)

Even though he is 800 miles away in another state he calls me and pushes me to get things done and shares his knowledge.

Of course, if we are only focusing on the 2-3 mile radius of city hall, then the argument for encouraging multifamily could be stronger.
