Now that the new 2020 California laws are in full effect, is anyone hearing anything about a change to the way that ADUs are appraised?

There should be different brokers for each type, you cant effectively market and sell both of these. 

Generally, people want openers and if it is effecting the conditioned areas, insulated will be beneficial for little money.But, if the garage is already too small for any real vehicle usage, I would avoid the opener. 

All of these will effect the returns. 

There are operational issues that can effect that, but ultimately if investors are hot on REITs, share price will rise regardless of underlying fundamentals of the assets and operator.

These tenants have occupied both units prior to this amendment (effective 2011) and the amendment states that if the tenant wasn't notified 60 days from the amendment taking effect it does not apply.

Hey BP,So i’m still learning about this but what does it mean for investors and how can we take advantage of it from a real estate / stock investment perspective?

But I think this will mainly effect the tertiary markets, and lower quality assets.
