Hi Marian, yes it is usually the heat exchange (per the technician), but in this case the air intake has a bees nest lodged in it, so the furnace did not get enough air flow to expel the gas.

If he can't prove a steady income from the property due to shoty bookkeeping or if he has been collecting cash and not reporting then you could potentially use that as a pressure point. 

I think if you find those little honey hole counties with not so much pressure .. but how do you actually do drive by's etc.. ?

They will make a stink to Section 8, and hopefully put more pressure on them.  

We did see the house on Park Point and it piqued our interest, but as you stated it seems like the current owners may have failed trying to run an air bnb there. 

I would just get an air mattress and put it in the closet (make sure to charge more for more guests- even if they are on an air mattress.)

My understanding is if you just say turn a hose bib on outside the water would jet out with the bacteria into the air and into your lungs. 

Will opening up all doors and windows allow it to air out enough and then will using Kilz and paint (floor - only Kilz, walls, ceiling) help eliminate the smell?

So it can be said that most likely our ground and air have been and may still be heavily polluted.
