I just had one for my home, as we're doing a re-fi.He refused to credit us a cent for a $36,000 solar panel system that we own (not lease). 

The prices for homes are considerably less than the Seattle area and we do have a great freeway transportation system and have busses and light rail to Seattle.  

One thing I'm worried about, however is the plumbing system.

Legal non conforming generally means its use has to be changed  per town ordinance IF  it needs rehab such as tearing down to the studs, total demo, partial demo, new electrical system etc..  

No cases have made it that far into the lawsuit and either do not get filed, or settled very fast due to the cost to get through the protection system.

I thought about refinancing (the 3rd "R" in BRRRR) but the rates are higher than what I currently have.
