The fact that we suddenly lost what felt like 2/3 of the former buyer pool, and the fact that we had to wait for the crop of new people to come online, seems to me to be one major reason we're in a time of adjustment, where many sellers are having to lower their expectations due to decreased demand (note that this doesn't seem to be across the board...some homes are still receiving many offers within days of listing).

Suddenly a swanky Bay Area apartment doesn't seem as a appealing when you throw a baby in the mix.

If it's a belly, the belly has been there for a while, may not be draining as efficient as it can but apparently draining OK until now, why an issue now all of a sudden? 

All the criminals of the city are just going to all the sudden stop being scumbags and go get jobs. 

Suddenly, there is this LEAP into ecstasy and mushrooms and selling drugs.

One of the things that came out of that conference that you’re probably familiar with is the instruction on the unlikely, but possible sudden depressurization of the cabin.

And killing the cashflow is a huge risk if you suddenly have a vacancy or major unexpected repair. 

I don't think Everett is suddenly going to have a surplus of rentals because of Boeing layoffs. 

When you introduce cheap debt / good terms along with a good purchase, your money is on steroids all of  sudden.
