The mortgage has passed through several lenders and is now with Shell point mortgage, the homeowner wants to keep the house with some help from the mortgage company, monthly payment used to be around $1100 and now all of a sudden the lender has increased the mortgage to over $2000.

I'm currently working a 10-year plan for retirement, at which point I would like to relocate (to the Outer Banks, N.C.) and allow one of my sons to take over the mortgage payments on my residence (financed at 3% thanks to a loan mod from several years ago).Credit is okay but not great.

But if you leave things alone, you pay the mortgage, the insurance policy auto renews, no one will know the difference, the bank continues to be billed, and in turn pays the insurance and taxes from the escrow.I paid off several mortgages in recent years and had to go to the insurance companies and various tax authorities to change the billing address back to me, else they would continue billing the bank.

@Ron Fletcher like I said before I drive my own truck and that doesn’t leave much time for reading but I have listened to several podcast and webinars I’ve learned a great deal but im not quite sure if my numbers are correct I’ve found a couple deals but I’m not sure if I’m doing things correctly I’ve ran numbers on at least 15 homes and duplex’s and 5 good deals I’ve felt would be good investments both short and long term for my market my next goal would be a hard loan I haven’t had the time comfortably learn about hard loans and loans in general give me a few days 18 hrs in a truck leaves a long time for audio books and pod cast rich dad poor dad changed my preception ofMy life and money i look forward to listening to richest man in Babylon
