I like to ask for everything they have, you never know...at the very least if there is a discrepancy between the statements and reality you have a little leverage and you can tell the company they keep...fly by night contractors or reputable ones, stopgap repairs or thoughtful work. 

Be careful aligning yourself so early on with these wholesalers, its a great way to ruin your reputation before you even have one.
