I grew up in the industry... my dad had multiple brokerages and I have had 3 myself. unless you get to 300 to 500 agents as a broker there is not a lot of money in it and any agent that cause issues if they are not a top producer and bringing you income they are let go without cause or loss of sleep..

I am conflicted on what is best as I see good and bad to doing either.In park name - easier to manage administrative work, ensure taxes are paid, easier to recover if owner walks away or quits paying park rentIn buyer name - they pay taxes, if home is damaged would seem to limit park's responsibility, no insurance costIf value of the homes is an issue, the mobiles in question are of low value $2-10K ea.Again, looking for the industry best practices on this.Thanks!

As for the question about oil prices, I would agree with @Richard Spooner that Houston will not suffer this downturn as much as it did in the 80's due to so much more diversity in the types of industry that are now supporting the region.
