From what I can see, I question if the "juice is worth the squeeze."

I have read a couple of e-books now and a variety of blogs about this subject. 

I've made inquiries with the city building permit department about the requirements and restrictions, e-mailed several egress window companies as a start but don't know where else to look.

@Randy E. great point about the # of higher end car on the road versus those that are considered the more affordable option.

Schedule E has no limit on the amount of property tax you can pay.  ;-)It MIGHT put some overhead pressure on 800k and above properties, since they will hit the 10k property tax limit, but I doubt it.  

I think the attorney knows what he did was unethical, and the juice won't be worth the squeeze.
