I'd never seen a painted wooden floor in the living area of a house (other than a little checkerboard thing I had in a bathroom) before getting into this business, but they're quite common in lower end and Section 8 areas in these parts, done in a chocolate brown typically, with area rugs, it looks pretty good and is very cheap to re-do at the turns.

The quarter turn valve is in essence a ball-joint valve and you can be darn sure that puppy isn’t going to fail.Below is a photo of this kind of valve.Once all of the shutoff valves are converted to the quarter turn valve, I can always breathe easier when I'm having subs change things out in the bathrooms or anywhere in the house where water is involved.

We live and work (flip) in the metro area of Minneapolis MN.Over 70% of the homes we work on are from the 1910’s to 1950’s.Many of our homes have outstanding woodwork, original tiled bathrooms, and hardwood floors that just need to be brought back to life.For us, we have to remember that these houses are not ones we are living in, but are doing for resale.With this mindset, we might make a definite different decision on what we do with the house compared to if it was our personal house.

Added an 8ft closet to the walkway between that bedroom and bathroom to make up for the lost closet and make good use of previously unused space.Deep clean and fresh paint everywhere, upgraded a few light fixtures and fans.First time not doing all of the work myself.Marketing Purchased in October 2016.
