Me and the wife are ‘halfway’ looking for a house, but being able to drive around and see houses without bothering an agent with houses we aren’t going to buy is SWEET. it’s nice being able to see what $X will buy in Y neighborhood in person at our own leisure.

In addition, I heard their are some weird rental rules in Seattle cam I please get some more info on how the rental market works in the Seattle area. 

How thoroughly have the shopped the comps to truly know they can achieve X in rent bumps based off Y on unit renovations?

@Andrey Y. - That sounds really wonderful....if I was still that carefree bachelor that waited until 39 to get married and start a family...…...but alas I have 3 kids, and unfortunately and fortunately a much younger wife that I am responsible for...….damned women and children!!! 

It wasn't even "solid" either, more liquid-y so it was all over my nice clean toilet. 

example, (If X is < Y and Z > (ab), etc... then possibly advantageous, otherwise probably not.)That might help people to make a go no/go on bothering to consider this option. 

I myself have a 15 y/o daughter and would like to impart similar life lessons with her as she navigates life… I’m definitely going to share your story with them tonight!
