@Harry Sharp I agree with @Joseph Lee that the 5% down conventional loan on multi family is the way to start if you qualify however for a slightly different reason.

@Lee Jea youll get a better interest rate from the bank when you refinance in your personal name. i'd recommend using your personal until you reach 10 properties. you accept a little more risk keeping it in your name, but even if you are sole proprietor of LLC there is still risk.
