Hey Beth, most of the people I've seen in the space pay by wire transfer or direct deposit.

I'm not searching for people to tell me how stupid I am and what I should have done.

@Cindy ChengI'll start off by saying, many people invest in rental property here in Texas.  

Start asking now people you know or run into as to what they would be willing to pay. 

I would like to hear the thoughts of other, more knowledgeable people.

There is two properties I'm going to look at tomorrow morning. 1 is in York City in a good block relative to the area and another I'm really excited about in northeastern school district that has opportunity for value add and is priced appropriately.

It's less daunting than many people's visions of it. 

Whether its capital gains or other types of income, definitely speak to your cpa as I have seen people do some interesting things with taxation on notes etc.

It's also tougher to tell in the winter months when less people are outside.
