Not sure how that would work-there is the fact that it could be a legal basement suite sharing utilities or a separate unit. 

Your mortgage lender may require you to occupy within a shorter time frame, which may be legal justification for giving a shorter notice.

This is basically a possible framework for my semi retirement.  5 year plan Assumptions-My own company is building everything (except electric) and cost savings can be opportunistic on overstocks, returns etc, but my cost assumptions don’t include any savings here.

You can do it all in about 2 hours.I did this in the beginning of my property management company and it worked great until we got to around a dozen cabins.
