It's discriminatory because you are biased to wanting a family and are discriminating against adults who are not a traditional family.The Fair Housing Act, which is the federal law governing housing discrimination, includes the following seven protected classes: race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability, and familial status.I think you are technically right, that normally people get in trouble for discriminating against children than toward them, but better to set up your processes and posts so that you are blame free.

@Raquel Doheny  thank you.. if you have never been to Charleston I highly recommend it.. its a great tourist town.. shopping food culture history.. and there is a section called south of Broad with museum quality mansions one after another.. horse drawn carriage rides etc.we just snagged a lot there and will do our first multi million dollar build.. not big dollars like SF Bay ARea or at least the Peninsula but pretty heady stuff for South East.

Come to find out the downstairs people took it upon themselves to take over the entire common area backyard  by erecting a full size (inflatable) above ground pool and a slipshod deck attached to it, hot tub, horse shoe pits and a fire pit.
