My lack of real estate knowledge ( growing everyday), a scam contractor, lots of repairs that take longer than a few days to fix, late paying renters etc.

What was the company folks were saying might be a scam?

As someone at the first steps, but anxious to get started, is it a scam or worth the initial investment?

You are likely NOT trying to find another investor, but rather, an owner-occupier (who you were probably competing against in the first place - otherwise, you were SCAMMED by the Realtor)!?

Sounds like a scam.

Hard money lenders seem to be the way to go but everything were finding on the internet either doesn't service this area, the minimum amount loaned is 100,000 which is pretty high for rehabs in our particular market or is just flat out scams.

That's when I fist got interested in real estate as a vehicle for financial freedom.Of course, most of those infomercials are just scams and it took me a long time to figure out the truth.
