My biggest hurdle I am facing is focusing on reading all the info I see, I guess I'm getting overwhelmed and ready to get started but, I also know, Knowledge is Education and do not want to dive in and Im not ready.

The IRS doesn't care if you have leverage or not when you take deductions (unless it's IRA money).

Overall, if real estate is your thing - either because you've got experience or want to get experience - leveraging your IRA for real estate investment of any type (tax liens, notes, private lending, etc) - can be very rewarding.
