Sure, it's possible she didn't smell it but her son lives with her and she has another son who comes over with her grandchildren.

@Bruce Lee   Techonology is mostly centered around Richardson, Plano, Frisco.....but there is some spreadout over the Metroplex.TI is based in Richardson near 635/75 for example.What we call telecom corridor is around Richardson....more or less 75 between Spring Valley and George Bush tollway.Just depends on what tech you are thinking of....some data centers south of the city...some west.Dell in Plano, Sabre in Southlake, Real Page in Plano, Accenture...everywhere, Goldman Sachs probably in downtown Dallas, ubertech in Deep Ellum, Microsoft in Irving, ATT in downtown Dallas, Solera in Southlake, Mercado Labs in downtown Dallas, you've also got big tech contingents at Capitol One, JP Morgan Chase, Deloitte, Palo Alto Networks, etc.Lots of people think of Silicon Alley, Seattle, and Austin as tech centers of the universe, but Dallas is strong....TI was probably one of the first IC chip companies is based here and EDS was started here, sold to GM, reinvented as Perot Systems, sold again....to Dell....but still have strong presence here.

@Paul Son I live in Nashville, I am an agent focused on everything we learn here at Bigger Pockets and I include all surrounding nashville areas.Nashville, yes has been bought up and properties are at an all time high but now Clarksville is growing and rents are on the rise!

Well, I did find a father/son combo that seems to be doing fine so far but so I think ill keep them busy and buy more houses!

I just helped my son (18) buy his first rental property in Memphis with about $20k out of pocket total. 

Can you get current rent #s on the units?

@Troy Whitney My son is a union carpenter in Seattle and area, he recently worked on a multi story apartment building the developer was using components from a EU country-maybe Poland-they got most of the building up-walls and floors-the building started to accumulate moisture inside the wall components which were very water tight and would not release the liquid.

We have a couple units in a 30 unit building in the peninsula (east Palo Alto) and need to find new HOA management firm for our building.
