This is an interesting theory that is completely unsupported by any data, currently unemployment is at an all time high (may change soon) and real wages are up since pre Covid (granted an extremely small amount and cpi doesn’t track home prices only rent which I have mixed feeling about) But we are actually going through an extremely normal economic cycle, government overspends=inflation=Fed hiking=Recession or slowdown.
