I don’t know the individual personally, but the people I do know managing multiple units work 6- or more hours per week.  

I recommend buying it under your personal name.

I'm presently hosting my first MTR guest who came through Furnished Finders so all the background checks and payments were handled on that platform.

I get that handled right up front.. but i see it happen to others quite often. 

I, personally, would consider any other option, including bankruptcy for your sister if she really has that much debt that she can't pay, rather than ask my nephew to give that much equity away and start over smaller with a much higher rate.         

When the first type of person chooses to self manage, they generally have a great experience, and they also get to pocket the extra 20ish% that they would pay if they hired someone else to manage their STR.

I have a tenant that is going to be evicted and i don't want them coming back saying that I withheld any of their personal property, so trying to prepare and have something prepared for a final walk through. 

We spoke with the unwanted guest personally and he said he would leave by Aug 15.July comes around and the main tenant has decided not to pay the July rent.
