get a set of plans and bid them out.. add up all the bids and that is your cost.excavation.. foundation rough plumb rough heat framing windows roof siding insulation and sheet rock.. probably cabinets as well.then you can take it from there do your own finish work  paint  .. hire out flooring and granite counters etc. and you can do the finish plumb and electrical but I would have the same people that did the rough do that all for one price.

You can get several million dollars in protection for only a few hundred a year in cost and you will have insurance company lawyers fighting for you if there is ever a claim.If you choose to go the route of setting up an LLC, you will have to do it locally to the property that you are buying.

Never on time, partial payments (which we took as he was a friend, and it hadn't gotten bad yet), culminating in damage to apartment, appliances, and taking off with no notice and rent unpaid - just a check for a couple of hundred taped to the door.Blocked me on phone, internet, and everywhere else.

My question for the BP community is given by budget constraint of $1,050 should I stain the cabinets, replace and stain new cabinet doors, try to install new cabinets on my very limited budget or wait until I have a bit more $ and have the contract replace new cabinets and counter tops all at one time.
