I would also include something about the exterior- we have local ordinances about porch/yard furniture having to be outdoor furniture (to keep people from the classic couch on the porch), when and where to place garbage bins and recycling, and keeping the yard cleaned up (no garden or solo cups and beer bottles etc).

I'd rather risk essientially lending good people $300 (if I can afford it) in their time of need and feel good about myself than risk losing them, by forcing them into a move that will cost more than rent and force a lady and husband with a broken arm to move a bunch of boxes and furniture

I try to donate clothes coats and shoes, sell decent furniture items so the buyer has to carry them away then bag up the rest and send it all to the dump.

We had to remove baseboards, pull up carpet, replace boxsprings, disassemble furniture and put it out in the shed (at -25C for a week).By the time we were done three treatments of the entire lower unit in the building and inspections of the upper unit to ensure they had not spread that far and had replaced mattresses and boxsprings -  we had spoiled the better part of $5K.Since it was a rooming house, we had to act quickly and assume the costs - the tenant skipped anyway (and has no money).

If that does not work to get you more free time in your smokey apartment, full of cockroaches that you brought with all your used furniture and dogs that were not allowed on the Lease, then, try to file for Bankruptcy before the Eviction Order is Executed and the Judge will give you another 90 days of free loader living in that smokey apartment.
