I have not experienced this, but we personally sublease two units and have them listed on Airbnb and FF.

Don't take everything personal. 

Try to always remember and apply the KISS principle (keep it simple). 

If you wait two years and have only used it for limited personal use then the IRS guarantees your investment intent under Rev Proc 2008-16. 

I personally invest in Dayton, Cleveland and Columbus.

What I've been told is that it's unlikely assuming the owner of the LLC is the same name as the person on the original title etc...I'm not an expert here, but this has been my experience with the first few properties I've purchased.
