Which methods take the longest to master?

Even though there are numerous ways to do this, this is a start. 

Hey everyone, I'm branching out and starting long-distance BRRR and wondering what methods you have found for inspecting contractors' work.

I am familiar with the different types of investing methods (flip, rent, brrr, etc.), but I am having trouble finding what is practical for me.

I have heard numerous horror stories about problem tenants, and I want to do my due diligence and limit that risk.

Over the years working as an architectural designer and now as a structural engineer I have dealt with numerous projects that have been built without permits.

It sounds like you're off to a great start with your portfolio already and you'll definitely be on track to grow that with the further learning & vision you've outlined.What kind of method are you using for the 2 properties you have near USU?

I'm just starting the process of saving up to get into real estate investing, and also starting to research my best method of getting involved.

I assumed that after getting 3 or 4 properties through methods of co-signers, I'd make contacts and be able to use OPM's from there.
