I started listening to the pod cast and decided I can do this.

A lot of the clubs want you seated and quiet for the majority of the meetings, listening to just one person.

I would recommend listening to as many of the podcasts as you can and start reading some of the books recommended at the end of each. 

I was inspired by listening to the podcasts.

But first, I need to pass this exam.I have continued to pour over the blogs and forums, as well as listen to podcasts and webinars here.

@Dave Miller also another good piece of advice is to listen to J.

Make sure to listen to all of the podcasts (start at episode 1 and keep going until you are caught up).

Read books on investing in real estate, listen to the podcasts, attend webinars and stay active on the forums while connecting with other investors in your area and pick a niche.

My partner and I are looking to dip our toes in the REI pool and realize the promise of financial independence.Our plan will most likely include creating an LLC to provide protection (tax, liability, brand), starting with flips to build capital, diversify into buy and hold/BRRRR to build wealth, and finally retire in about a year to live life ;)We've been lurking on BP, reading @j_scott and @brandon_turner, and listening to the podcast.
