Do you do any investing in raw land that is sub dividable? 

Landlords have been doing it for decades. 

I have been trying to inquire on financing for a land contract property.

Condos have HOAs which can be good for landlords because the keep the outside of the building, landscaping, and rules to keep tenants from making their own "yard art". 

I took a transfer with Lockheed and landed there from Atlanta.
