I have called the town building department and wetland department and I haven't heard anything promising.

Also talk to fire department....maybe public info officer can give you a list of calls they go on or the fire marshall might have a list.

If the mailing address for the owner is the same as these clearly vacant houses, another trick would be to call the water department and ask where they are sending the water bills for these houses.
