We don't do anything for less than 5k/month, and even then, we are very picky, because it's a lot of work, and it requires a client that follows our instructions, and doesn't go rogue and do things that harm the site's SEO without consulting us (buying links, etc).

I had even consulted my lawyer and he said it would be to costly to fight them, and I should probably try negotiating as I did for the initial loss. well I did just that and got them up to 4 months and considered myself lucky.

I'm still active in the field but only as a consultant a few days a week(way less stress).

This is a tough crowd.I have worked with some of the most sophisticated institutional and private investors on Wall Street both on consulting jobs and in partnerships.

I already consulted with them and they can help, but this certainly wouldn't help establishing good relationships with this neighbor.
