The wall paper removal job itself took more than a weekend. 

Well this weekend, as I was scraping paint, repainting cabinets and doing many other laborious tasks, I looked at the shower and thought that I should replace it (there was something stuck to it but otherwise it looks new) but just then @Brandon Turner said, "Don't fall in love with your rentals..." and went on to talk about not doing unnecessary fixes and replacements in rentals.

Right now is not a great time to market properties as home buyers are more concerned with who is going to cook the mashed potatoes and crescent rolls for Thanksgiving and if they're going to buy a PS4 for Tommy for Christmas (or Channukah or Kwanzaa or Festivus ... trying to stay PC here now people).

Had a tenant text me last week that he left his job in the area and would be out of his apartment by Oct.31st.His lease ends the end of May 2016.I reminded him that his lease was through May of 2016, and we would make every effort to rent it, but that he would be responsible for the rent till we got it rented or his lease expired.He said he might know someone who would take it, then added that he would be moved out by the weekend and would leave the keys.This weekend came and went.

I'll be traveling to Borger, TX for work here in a couple of weeks, of course nothing to do there so I go to Amarillo just about every other day or weekends.
