There are indicators to me that Cummins is here to stay.  

There are plenty of rentals in Aurora, Naperville, and a couple in Oswego but none specifically in Montgomery that I can find.There are a couple of hotels in the area, which shows there is at least some demand for stay in the area.What are people's thoughts/experiences on this?

I assumed that staying at home would be the best option for now.

The tenant would pay $75 lets say per month to not have to have a deposit, your betting on that they will stay more than 12 months.

A lot less painful on her end so she's more likely to stay, and if she does, then I don't have any additional expenses. 

You can't throw it in dumpster unfortunately.You can bag it up to make it easier to carry outside.The constable has to stay there until house is emtied out so you need to have a crew their to carry out the stuff.Then everyone will come pick through it and make a mess.Then you have to haul off the junk and clean up all the debris.

Are you going to change locks or rotate codes to after someone stays?

At the moment, I'm the only one working while she stays home with our toddler.Both of us have Masters degrees with student loan debt around 130k each.
