Hey Joshua,I'm currently in the throws of a development project in Brooklyn, and the $300 a sf model is a little light, especially if you plan on decent finishes.

@Chad Gardner - this is one of the most common questions we get from potential/future househackers. 

One upside to me would consistent rent scale, meaning if you upgrade one unit early, you set the table for all of the units when done because they are all the same.

Is it possible to sell or refinance one unit to pay the other off completely. 

That's why I'm asking if you there was something else you had in mind here.I want to clarify some of the math you used.
