Closing on my 1st duplex next week that has current long term, month to month tenants occupying both units.

Also, once I graduate, I was thinking about buying a duplex, where I’ll live on one side, but rent out the other, but that’s just a thought (not definite).P.S.

Hi,I am considering purchasing 3 duplexes all located next to each other (built the same year with the same floor plan).

Those paranoid cops think that every BnB has cameras and microphones in the walls, watching every move and recording every word...

I'm only interested in acquiring a duplex, triplex, or fourplex.

It was a 4 unit with 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, but it turned into a duplex. 

I guess what I am trying to ask is:1) Would you go for 5 houses or 2 duplexes  or whatever that bring you 1.5K cashflow in the middle of nowhere  (key word middle of nowhere)2) would you buy one fourplex 1 hour away from a big city that cash flows 1kI guess what I was trying to compare is would smart people go for:  1) close (1 hr away) to  big city property  (cashflows 1K)or 2) a little bit more cashflow from middle of nowhere?

This is a 99,000 duplex; 1 bed/ 1 bath upstairs and 1 bed/ 1 bath downstairs.  

I want to get a commercial or hard money loan to rehab and then refinance a duplex.
