I have a plan to buy my entire block in the country.

Seller has agreed to 85k with 20% down,  interest rate of 8.5 and loan term can be flexible.  

For example some people want wood floors and granite counters in their personal residence, but may not want that in their investment property, if that makes sense.As @Mark R mentioned, we don't have a lot of duplexes here, like other parts of the country. 

I agree Florida is tough nowadays so it may take some effort and time to find a deal that makes sense.

Agreed on the expansion, we are planning to get a few units (<20) at this stage and aggressively pay it off in the next 5-10 years to act as supplemental retirement income.
