I was able to find a 3/2 with a mother in law suite built behind it which is a small 1 bedroom.

There's always travel nurses or people moving in and out of LA or I imagine the studios have someone working on a movie or TV show that need short term housing.

We currently live in the country and take care of my Grandmother but she will soon require full-time care in a nursing home and my wife was ready to move months ago because she drives 40 minutes one way.

If you intend to make it a rental someday it might be a good idea to keep your eye open for a mother in law apartment basement or a home that could be easily converted.

I personally would not do anything in Daybreak and that is in large part due to the HOAs that exist there.I bought my first house that also had a mother in law apartment in Sugarhouse.
