Hello All, I am a someone in his thirties who doesn't come from much and was taught very little growing up in the form of financial literacy.

I am currently house hacking my townhome in Silver Spring, MD and have been doing so for just short of 3 years.

I am purchasing the home with my mother 50/50.

He's getting a loan to buy me out so I am a little lost on the next steps. 

I started investing in RE as a hobby a few years ago and still am, BUT started a business with very little about 15 years ago.  

I have several properties from 1-10 units and am looking to expand.

I am currently marketing the office space but am concerned that the 3 residential units make it unappealing to serious potential commercial tenants.

.: Thanks everyone for your replies, it's in NJ, approx. how much time it will take for foreclosure process and how much I should be ready to spend on attorney.Once we hire an attorney, he will take care, or I also have to go court frequently.I am asking because I  have a job, it's tough to get frequent off.Trying to prepare myself for tough time ahead.Thanks again. 

Hello, I am looking at some multi family investment properties and I see big difference in price in properties that are turnkey from ones that are fixer uppers.

what other costs am I missing?
