If you are considering living on the land you would want to know if there are utilities at the property line or estimate the cost of bringing utilities to the land such as electrical, water, gas and sewer or find out if you would need to install a septic system and if the land slopes enough and has enough drainage for a septic system to be installed and work property.

Evening everyone,I currently invest in the Dallas real estate market while working in the oil and gas industry in Midland, TX.

A cheaper and mostly valid way to get around it is to buy, finance, and insure it in your name.  

If someone needs to break a lease for a VALID reason (a job loss where they truly no longer can afford the rent and the landlord sees the handwriting on the wall in terms of an eviction for such down the road for example) this may make sense. 

One bath is in the finished basement (mostly finished, not laundry area), oversize 1 car garage, separate tool shed, privacy fenced back yard, central a/c with gas forced air heat, newer roof, vinyl siding, new-ish double pane windows.  

I sent them there to answer her questions and inspect the furnace for a potential gas leak. 

I had a 75 gallon gas water heater go out last week.

When a new tenant moves in, explain the process of notifying you - between certain hours, to leave a detailed message, etc.Our local gas company offers a maintenance/service agreement.
