There's no sale until the option is eventually exercised, and when that takes place, the new buyer will do a Purchase Agreement, and the seller will pay off the existing Mortgage...just like a regular sale. 

But there are obvious issues that might arise from serving in a dual role: the need for a retainer agreement, the need to fully disclose to the client which hat you are wearing and when, conflicts of interest, restrictions on attorney advertising, etc.I myself am not asking for legal advice, just for someone with relevant experience to point me in the right direction, either through a post or over the phone.Thanks,Clark

We are all so worried about following the rules of a government who throws us to the wolves that we forget that It’s our property not theirs and we are justified in not letting them overstep their role.
