I understand Cleveland is a pain when it comes to water, sewer, trash and has o be in the owner's name. 

The key is that you need to get the daughter to assume the role of Administrator/Executrix of the Estate.

I was set on a 3/4 unit MFH in Long Beach or Los Angeles, so felt like a painful blow when I read the update.

I know that unruly tenants like this can be a pain but I don't think you have much legal recourse here, but best to talk to a local real estate attorney!

@Angelique A.Two things are painfully obvious after reading your post:1.

Add to that they're going to have to go to negative interest rates and all of that still won't keep us from the pain that is coming and I wouldn't keep a penny in dollars if it isn't required.

As far as contractors, this seems to be a pain point for many in the industry in San Antonio. 

As someone with a background in computer security: Your instincts regarding the insecurity of sending private information via email are good.Never send anything via email that you wouldn't feel comfortable mailing on a postcard unless you use a specialized encryption tool that encrypts data while in transit (you'd know if you were, because they're typically hard to set up and a pain to use).
