Just a heads up for anybody interested, If your sole intention is to be able to borrower against a solo 401k, the best and only option from the major brokerages seems to be ETrade.

Again, a 1918 home so there are no vents.It appears the current thought process for crawl spaces is no insulation between floor joists to keep the crawl space around the same temp as the home....but I'm intent on installing vinyl tile which will prevent Moisture from coming up and will encourage Moisture on the wood floors.

My recommendation would be to detail out the reject --  such as: - Applicants with felonies of malicious intent in the past 5 years = Rejected - Applicants with felonies of malicious intent over 5 years prior = Reviewed (may affect overall applicant "scoring") - Applicants with felonies of non-malicious intent in past 5 years = Reviewed (may affect overall applicant "scoring") - Applicants with felonies of non-malicious intent over 5 years prior = No impact - Sex Offenders = Reviewed (may affect overall applicant "scoring")I would recommend having criteria in writing on how you review those marked "Reviewed" and this can vary from company, as long as it is consistent for all applicants.

Also, since REI is a bit different than what they are doing, I doubt they'd award brownie points for your 10 hour "sacrifice," unless, of course, you doing this to build the business with the intent of offering them jobs when they come home (in which case I'll give you the brownie points!).
