It used to be you got a listing boost on new listings and now I’m seeing crickets and very few views, even with really good pricing.  

George Utah and San Diego and I was able to get dramatically better rates than last year.  

And boost rural in the short term with a possibility of a crash in the long run.

That is pretty common to see more dramatic price swings in this region.But I'm looking at the fundamentals as to why prices went up so much in Scottsdale to begin with.

When you pay all cash, you paid full price for that deal, you established a much higher number you have to recover before you make any profits (you have to recover all of your cost before you start making a profit) with less funds to use to recover your cost, and dramatically reduced your total CF and total Property Value.

There are ways to do it differently but being an agent is always the easiest.Do you require the boost in networking ability? 

For that goal of a 60k boost the smarter strategy may be to just list it and let cash-rich inventory-thirsty buyers bid war it up that high, although even there it probably won't double appraised value.
