People not from Houston have only seen the horrible photos on TV and may not grasp just how big this place is geographically, how spread out and dispersed everything is (meaning as bad it as it was, most folks were fine)... and decide to go elsewhere for work.

Knowing what I know now, I realize those flipping shows on TV are a bunch of BULL.

Thanks for the reply Boris, and no worries, experienced opinions are what we come here for.My involvement was much more than just watching the project and my experience is deeper then reading books and watching TV reality shows.

Even then they are usually around 85% capacity so they just end up in TV remotes and other things.

Found the wood in the trim/moulding section in Lowes and it wasn't visible to the casual viewer unless they got down and looked up under the counter overhang.Next I tackled a really bad caulk job behind the sink and there I found evidence of dry rot that the caulk was covering.

I am not one and I don't play one on TV, either.

While some MAY overlook issues such as student loans it is not uncommon to see problems with cell phone bills and TV/internet charges.
