For a 1500sf house with crawl space to enforce the foundation with Simpson Strong-tie Retrofit, a contractor quote me $10k while HomeAdvisor.com quote average in my area (zip code) is around $4.5k.

Hello,I am looking at a 1985 single-wide MH 14'x72' on a perimeter brick wall foundation in a deeded lot MH subdivision (real property).

We've done enough deals to know around what things will cost, but it can be a good idea to get estimates for the big line items like roof, foundation, etc.

I am about 85% completed but issues keep coming up (storm knocked the gutters down and seems there is extreme leaking coming from the front foundation) Starting with 130k cash in the bank to now close to nothing in cash, and having a hard time finding a Carpenter to work behind the shady contractor who staged my house.

Also not interested in tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, slab foundations on bad soils, etc.
