Where to start depends on what you want to do as a real estate investor (your goals), however, as a new investor, you may not know which type of real estate niche you want to focus on.  

And on and on and on ... there are as many methods and specialties as there are RE investors ... figure out what you are good at and figure out a niche and strategy that plays to these strengths.

My client wanted to put the floorplan back to a shotgun as unique as that sounds.
